See my interview with Pax Press Agency following the side-event “Islam and Christianity, the Great Convergence: Working Jointly Towards Equal Citizenship Rights” that was held on 15 March at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG).
The panel debate was arranged by the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (“The Geneva Centre”) and was co-sponsored by the Permanent Missions of Lebanon, Pakistan and Algeria, as well as the Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
I had the pleasure of sharing my viewpoints on the importance of identifying commonalities between Islam and Christianity so as to overcome prevailing misunderstandings that exist between Muslims and Christians. It is the responsibility of the 3.8 billion Muslims and Christians to work for peace in the world, for human dignity and for the environment. We owe it to future generations.
