My sixth report to the Human Rights Council, to be presented on 12 September in Geneva, focuses on the impacts of international financial institutions on the international order. Indeed, what the World Bank does affects our daily lives more than pronouncements by the General Assembly or ECOSOC. I make pragmatic recommendations to the Board of Governors of the Bank how best to mainstream human rights into its activities and how to proactively advance the sustainable development goals. The report to the General Assembly, to be presented on 18 October in New York, focuses on the IMF.
